On October 27^th at the 2011 Emerson Global Users Exchange in Nashville, TN, Southern States Chemical was awarded the prestigious PlantWeb Excellence Award for its use of Emerson’s CHARacterization Modules (CHARMs) at the Wilbara Plant in Wilmington, NC. The award was presented to Bryan Beyer, Acid Operations Manager, for his presentation “DeltaV Electronic Marshalling Delivers Engineering Cost and Scheduling Savings for Greenfield Chemical Plant.” Congratulations to everyone at SSC and a special thanks to those who contributed to this project.
